Kilmahog to Stank Glen Circular. Start at car park next to former railway line, up into Bochastle Hill woods and up the valley to Stank Glen, returning along railway line through Pass of Leny.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 7.1 mile leisurely walk.

Penicuik Estate. A circular walk around a countryside estate, along the river, through the woods and along a ridge above the river giving lovely views north and south. Good tracks, one long gradual ascent, two very short steep ascents, short tarmac sections.  (Walk rescheduled from 29th April)

Almondell Country Park. A spring walk in Almondell beside the River Almond.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 5.0 mile leisurely walk.

The perimiter of Beecraigs Country Park with the possibility of climbing Cockleroy.  Good paths.  Ascent 140m.  OS Explorer 349

Join the Livingston group for a 7.2 mile leisurely walk.

and Dunmore.  On pavement, along the foreshore and into the Dunmore estate to the Pineapple. Good views of the Forth.

Reverse of the normal ascent, up along Lawers Burn, to Lochan nan Cat, taking the south ridge.

Seven Lochs Wetland Park Trail. Urban country paths linking Hogganfield Loch with Drumpellier Country Park from Stepps Station.

Lauder circular via Chester Hill and Blackchester Fort. Starting in Lauder we ascend a gentle climb to Chester Hill and through the village to join the Lauder Light Railway track and walk along to Blackchester Fort Pilmuir and Whitlaw Farms back into Lauder. This walk is mainly on good farm tracks with only gradual ascents.

Circular from Harestanes. Via Divet Ha Wood, Waterloo Monument, West Nisbet, the Borders Abbey Way and St Cuthbert's Way back to Harestanes. Negligible ascent.

Circular via Falside Castle and part of Pencaitland Railway Walk.  Very scenic and panoramic walk, if conditions allow, to include the city, the sea and the hills.  Ascent 50m.  OS Explorer 351

Windside Hill - Whitehope Law - Middle Hill - descent on track south through Leithenwater Forest to Williamslee then follow farm road down Leithen to start point.

The Glen, Drove Road Circular. Drove road past Birks farm, Orchard Rig ascend Birkscairn Hill and Stake Law. Descend to Glensheil Bank. Return by Loch Eddy and Larch wood.

Auchtertool Circular. This pleasant circular walk around rolling countryside makes use of core paths in the Auchtertool area near Kirkcaldy. Most of the route is over farmland on tracks and quiet roads however a few sections are on rougher ground. There are some gates which need to be climbed. We may pass through fields where water buffalo graze. (Source: Fife Walking).

Manor Hills Circular. Start at end of road at head of Manor Water Valley. Foulbrig, Greenside Law, Water Head, Notman Law, Dun Law, Fifescar Knowe, Dollar Law. PD £6.00

Earlston, Greenhill Plantation, Southern Upland Way, Lauder. Undulating.

Menstrie Glen circular. Starting from Menstrie a steep climb up to the main Glen track on the west side and then walk towards Lossburn reservoir past the ruins of Jerah, circling back on the east side of the Glen and a steep zig zag back down.

From second layby on A68 south of Earlston follow Leader Water Path to Leaderfoot Viaduct and back by Diamond Jubilee Path.  Ascent 200m.  OS Explorer 338

Circular walk from Earlston. Diamond Jubilee Path and Leader Water Path. A few steep sections and steps. Exp339

Join the Linlithgow group for a 7.5 mile strenuous walk.

Ben Lomond. One of the most popular Munros, rewarding people who climb it with fantastic views of the length of Loch Lomond and far into the hills to the north and the Trossachs to the east. The route has been well made on a clear path. However, if there is snow on the route ice axe and crampons may be needed.

From Glen Café follow SUW, leaving to ascend the Wiss. Cross to Altrieve Rig, descend and follow SUW along St. Mary’s Loch to the start

Greenhill, Heatherhope reservoir, Phillip Shank, The Street, Blackburgh Fort, Greenhill

Join the Balerno group for a 8.0 mile moderate walk.

Walk from Harlaw via the Maiden’s Cleugh towards Glencorse Reservoir - up Phantom’s Cleugh past Bonaly Reservoir - towards Torduff and Clubbiedean Reservoirs then via Easter Kinleith and Whiteside Plantations to Harlaw. Can be muddy in places - bring gaiters and poles.

Cardrona to Peebles via Cross Border Drove Road. Bus to Cardrona then ascend through the Cardrona forest to reach the cross border drove road back to Peebles.

Tillicoultry to Dollar circular. Starting from the Sterling Mills Outlet Shopping Village, we follow the old Drove Road to Dollar, returning via the Devon Way, which follows the old railway track. (Walk rescheduled from 8th April)

From Lochore Meadows Visitor Centre  up one side of Lochore into Kelty and back down the other side of the loch.  Ascent negligible.  OS Explorer 367

Stobo circular. Stobo via John Buchan Way up Easton Burn, return by estate track to Stobo Castle grounds, [visit to Japanese Garden], past Home Farm, Harrow, Stobo. PD £5.50

This pair of Corbetts provide an enjoyable hillwalk above Glen Orchy. Pathless hillwalking on mostly grassy hills.

Walks takes past Glen House, Far Shepherd Cottage, Glenshiel Bank to Loch Eddy and returns via. Quair Water.

Gorebridge to Temple circular. Starting from Gorebridge Parish Church down valley of Gore Water then up secluded valley of South Esk and Arniston Estate to Temple. Return via Arniston House.

Circular following the River Tweed from Peebles to Lyne via Barns Tower and Manor Sware. 170 m ascent.

Join the Livingston group for a 9.3 mile moderate walk.

Interesting walk around Mendick Hill with opportunity to climb Hill if wished.  Good tracks and paths via moorland, farms, old settlements, woodland, Garvald Village and countryside..  Three large prehistoric cairns visible from the outward path.  Mendick Hill is steep but not high.  It can be climbed and return by the same track.

A climb up Lee Pen then along the ridge to Blackknowe and return via the Leithen Water.  Ascent 400m.  OS Explorer 337
