Join the Balerno group for a 7.5 mile moderate walk.

Walk in Gosford Estate, Aberlady, Gullane area. May return by bus so bring bus passes. There may be a small charge for access to Gosford Estate. PD £4.00

Join the Linlithgow group for a 9.5 mile moderate walk.

Carron Valley Walk. A walk from the car park at the east end of the reservoir with a loop at the far end.

Join the Livingston group for a 7.5 mile moderate walk.

Mostly on the Fife coastal path. Uneven and undulating paths.

Join the Midlothian Walkers group for a 5.0 mile leisurely walk.

Meet 10.00am Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club car park, Dalkeith. Car share to Walk in Cousland area. Then Lunch 2.00pm at Justinlees Inn, Eskbank

Along River Teviot to Roxburgh and return along the old railway.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 7.0 mile moderate walk.

Bus from Aberdour to Kinghorn and walk back via back of Binn Hill on paths and country road.  Ascent 100m.  OS Explorer 367.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 6.5 mile moderate walk.

East Lomond from Glenrothes. A different way to ascend East Lomond. Good paths for the ascent with generally mild gradients. The descent route is initially steep and has some rough, pathless sections.

South entrance - visitors Centre by the Union Canal - minor road walking to Roman Camp Cottages - path initially towards Uphall Station - return to the Country Park car park.

Circular from Muircot Farm, Coalsnaughton, Clacks. Starting at the farm shop on eastern outskirts of the village down to R Devon into Tillicoultry, continue westward, then over to and around Gartmorn Dam, and return for coffee.

Pillars of Hercules, Waterfall, Maspie Den and Tyndall Monument.  Tracks and grassy paths.

OS66: Linear: Newbattle to Brunstane along the Esk through Dalkeith Country Park to Musselburgh, then following the John Muir Way towards Edinburgh. Option to continue into central Edinburgh an extra 5k

Circular Whitecraig, Inveresk,Battle of Pinkie Cleuch, Lewisvale River Esk, mainly on paths and short stretches of roads.

Peebles to Innerleithen via Dunslair Heights, Leithen Doors and Lee Pen Summit. Return by service bus.

Fishers' Brae. Starting from The Cross, up Fishers' Brae, returning via the Grange and the loch.

Fife Coastal Path - Preston Island - Fife Pilgrim Way - Valleyfield Estate - Blucher Burn - Community Orchard - High Valleyfield - Culross Abbey - car park via Mercat Cross.

Alloa, River Forth and Cambus Pools. Some pavement walking in Alloa, then a pleasant walk by the River Forth to Cambus Pools Nature Reserve.

Balerno Wester Bavelaw Circular. This walk starts from Balerno's bus terminus and follows woodland track, rough moorland and quiet roads in the lower Pentlands, returning via Wester Bavelaw. Some muddy and boggy patches and a chance to visit the bird hide at Threipmuir reservoir.

From Puddle Bridge via old railway, Ormiston Hall, House o' Muir, Fountainhall, Pencaitland and Puddle Burn.   Ascent 45m.  OS Explorer 345.

Blackness. Walk from Blackness to Abercorn Church and back by the shore and Westershore Wood.

Canal Towpath east. 10 o'clock bus to Winchburgh then walk along the canal towpath back to Linlithgow.

Circular walk from St Ninian's car park. Linlithgow, River Avon, Muiravonside, canal, Linlithgow. PD £3.00

 A morning walk via Soonhope, Shield Green, Venlaw, Honda Garage and return.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 5.0 mile moderate walk.

From Discovery Point via the new V&A Museum, Howff Cemetary, Dundee Law, Balgay Park, Mills Observatory then back to Discovery Point.  Ascent 250m.  OS Explorer 313.

Arthur's Seat circular then Calton Hill (optional). Suggesting travel by train but option to meet in car park opposite Salisbury Crags around 10:45.

South Queensferry to Eagle Rock and back again. From the Hawes Inn take the track by the shore going east. Walk as far as Eagle Rock and return.

River Avon and Muiravonside Country Park. Start from West Port car park, then Linlithgow Bridge, River Avon to Muiravonside Country Park returning along Union Canal tow path and Preston Road.

North Third Circular, field tracks, short stretch on minor road.

Join the Balerno group for a 7.5 mile moderate walk.

Circular walk, Wallace Monument, Cambuskenneth Abbey, Stirling Castle and return. Some road walking. PD £7.00

Join the Edinburgh group for a 3.7 mile leisurely walk.

Riverside walk, and return via gardens

Join the Edinburgh group for a 8.5 mile moderate walk.

The walk will start in Haddington and head out on the north of the Tyne crossing to the Amisfield Walled Garden and on past the golf course back into Haddington before doing a second loop west beside the Tyne, passing the Burns Memorial and through Letham Holdings, to return to Haddington completing the Figure of 8.

Walk starts Mart Street (Morrisons) Hawick at 9:30am and return by bus. Alternatively park at Selkirk and take bus at 9:11am to Hawick.

Circular walk on waterside paths and forest tracks crossing Bridge of Brackland with views of the falls.  Ascent 200m.  OS Explorer 365/366.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 9.5 mile moderate walk.

Duncolm & The Slack Hill Circuit Kilpatrick Hills. A walk from Kilpatrick Station following track up Kilpatrick Braes to Loch Humphrey & muirland path to Duncolm 401 metres Marilyn summit with superb views on the right day & back via The Slacks Hill to Kilpatrick Station.

Circular from Tranent, Myles Farm, Falside hill, Falside Castle, Elphinstone, Birsley Brae. Good paths and tracks, some minor roads.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 9.0 mile moderate walk.

Sidlaw Hills. A walk including two hills, Auchterhouse Hill and Craigowl Hill skirting by Balluderon Hills taking in views of Tayside and the mountains of the Angus Glens. Starting point will be Balkello Community Woodland car park. Anyone wishing to meet at the start point, we are hoping to start 09:45-10:00. (Note that this walk has been upgraded by the leader to local grade B+ following a recce)

Circular walk in the Pentlands from Flotterstone taking in Carnethy and Scald Law  Return follows the minor road by the Loganlea and Glencorse Reservoirs

Join the Tweeddale group for a 9.3 mile strenuous walk.

We follow the Brockhill path to Bowhill and join the Duchess’s Drive toward Fauldshope Hill where we take the riding route to Witchie Knowe. We follow the road to Old Kirkhope and return via Kirkhope Tower and track to start.

Brox Burn Path, Binny Craig circular. Circular walk from Broxburn along the Brox Burn path, up Binny Craig from Hangingside wood (top optional), Oatridge demo path and back through Broxburn Community Woodland. A mix of tarmac, gravel paths and grass. Great views if we get the weather for it.
