Join the Linlithgow group for a 6.0 mile moderate walk.

Three Easy Ochils. This is a circular walk starting at Castlehill reservoir and walking round Auchlinsky Hill, over Common Edge Hill and over Seamab Hill. Good paths and tracks. Join the Linlithgow group for a 5.6 mile leisurely walk.

New Lanark and Lanark Loch. This walk takes us into Lanark Moor Country park, around Lanark Loch and past the racecourse. Some ascent, but mainly via steps.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 5.5 mile leisurely walk.

Duloch, Calais Muir Wood, Fordell Estate on country paths returning by Prathouse farm track.  Ascent  negligible.  OS Explorer 367

Join the Linlithgow group for a 4.0 mile easy walk.

Canal towpath. 11:10am bus to Philpstoun returning to Linlithgow via the canal towpath.

Join the Balerno group for a 7.0 mile moderate walk.

Circular from Beecraigs. Beecraigs Country Park Visitor Centre CP, Cockleroy Hill, Witchcraig Hill, Korean Memorial, Beecraigs Loch. PD £3.00

Join the Edinburgh group for a 8.4 mile moderate walk.

Peebles to Eddleston via Hay Lodge Park, Jedderfield Farm, Hamilton Hill (371m), Old Drove Road (optional visit to Polish Map of Scotland), Eddleston.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 5.0 mile leisurely walk.

Canal towpath west. Walk up Preston Road to the canal and walk west over the aqueduct to the road that goes down to the bus stop at Lathallan for the bus back to Linlithgow.

Join the East Lothian Ramblers and Hillwalkers group for a 11.0 mile moderate walk.

A and B walkers: circular from Pinkie, Walyford, railway walk, Carbery. C walkers: circular from Crossgatehall, railway walk to Elphinestone and Hillhead Farm. Contact leaders for start times

Join the Livingston group for a 8.7 mile moderate walk.

Good tracks and field, woodland paths. Following the Old Post Road, via The Barony Castle estate where option of seeinh the Polish Map of Scotland and Llamas!. Strady climb through forestry and return via farmland and Post Road.  Some tracks will be muddy.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 10.9 mile moderate walk.

Culross - Low Valleyfield Woods - Blairhall - Devilla Forest circular. This walk uses part of the former Dunfermline to Alloa railway track.

Join the Midlothian Walkers group for a 6.0 mile moderate walk.

Circular walk in Musselburgh area, starting at 10.30am Fisherrow Harbour. Followed by meal at Ravelston House Hotel, Musselburgh at 2.30pm. Non-walkers very welcome to come along for the meal. Walkers meet at Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club car park, Dalkeith 10.00am for car share to Muss Harbour. Muiravonside circular. Circular from the West Port to Avon Valley, onwards to Muiravonside, Maddiston and the Haining. Back to Linlithgow by the canal.

Join the Livingston group for a 6.2 mile leisurely walk.

Through woodland to Tappoch Broch, the Blue Pool and Torwood Castle.  Mostly tracks and some road walking.

Join the Edinburgh group for a 6.5 mile easy walk.

From Roseburn to Botanic Gardens following the Water of Leith through Stockbridge to the west gate of the Botanics and a circuit around the Botanics finishing at the café,

Tillicoultry and Alva. Stretch your legs between Christmas and New Year. Following paths and tracks through the Ochil Hills Woodland Park, and returning by an alternative track.

to Crichton Castle.  Village of Ford to Dewartown, Vogrie Country Park, Chrichton Castle and Church.  Grassy paths and earth paths. One short ascent, descent. Can be muddy in places after rain

Circular from Woodhall Dean Nature Reserve Park at Woodhall Burn, Tinker's Leap, How Burn, Black Loch, Oak Wood and return to Woodhall

Galafoot, Tweedbank, Abbotsford, old Tweed Bridge, riverside.

Slateford to Fountainbrige along the canal.

Starting at the National Gallery and finishing in Leith. If lunch is required please confirm with leader before the walk

to Cockleroy Hill. On minor road, along tracks and waymarked paths, passing Lochcote reservoir to Cockleroy Hill and returning via Beescraigs and the Korean War Memorial.

Join the Eildon Ramblers group for a 7.5 mile leisurely walk.

We walk up the Leader Water Path and return by the Jubilee Path, its an undulating route all the way but not difficult taken at at relax pass.

Circular walk from Gifford through Yester Estate to Goblin Ha'' castle (bring torch), mainly paths, some undulations, short stretch of road.

Circular from Straiton Park and Ride via cyucle path towards Loanhead, River Esk and Lasswade. Return followibng North Esk Way tgowards Rosslyn Chapel and Straiton. Negligible ascent. Contact leader for start times.

Join the Livingston group for a 6.2 mile moderate walk.

Old favorite starting from New Lanark Heritage Village and Mill.  Allong the wooded banks of the Clyde and return.  Many beautiful falls and scenic views of the river, Cora Linn and Falls of Clyde as well as the heritage site. Can be muddy.

Peebles to Innerleithen via Dunslair Heights, Leithen Doors and Lee Pen Summit.

This walk starts on the St. Cuthbert Ways and goes via. Monteviot, and returns via. Ancrum Old Church and Ale Water.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 5.0 mile leisurely walk.

Little Mill. Circular by the river Avon starting from Linlithgow. Mainly minor roads, gravel paths and parkland.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 14.6 mile moderate walk.

Dun Rig Horseshoe. From Peebles, four peaks surrounding Glensax with extensive views in all directions. Peat bogs in places.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 5.9 mile leisurely walk.

Livingston circular. Some paths through Livingston you may not be aware of. Includes a walk along Murieston Water, through Bellsquarry and past Livingston Village, starting behind the Almondvale Centre.

This is a circular hillwalk via the classic approach, heading up past the spectacular Gray Mare's Tail to the beautiful Lock Skeen.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 4.3 mile leisurely walk.

Blackness to Abercorn. Walk from Blackness past the castle and by Wester Shore Wood to Abercorn Church. Back by the top path to Blackness.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 5.0 mile easy walk.

Walk from Cramond Brig along the River Almond to railway bridge then via Turnhouse Road and Braehead Quarry into Cammo Park and back along the river.  Ascent negligible.  OS Explorer 350

Circular from Linlithgow. Linlithgow [West Port] via the Loch, Coal Road, W Lothian Golf Course, Kinneil House, Upper Kinneil, River Avon, Linlithgow Bridge. PD £3.00

Circular walk starting Currie, Curriehall station, Riccarton Campus, Broomiehill Park, Water of Leith, Currie, tracks and paths. 150M ascent.

Join the East Lothian Ramblers and Hillwalkers group for a 10.0 mile moderate walk.

Circular from Flotterstone Visitors Centre to Glencorse Reservoir, Maiden's Cleuch, path over to Wester Kinleith and Middle Kinleith and Clubbiedean Reservoir. Return by Bonaly Reservoir and Castlelaw. Contact leader for start times.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 9.9 mile moderate walk.

Beecraigs circuit from Linlithgow. This walk will start from the West Port. The outward route will follow the canal and go up past the golf club to climb Cockleroi Hill. We will then descend to Beecraigs country park and go anticlockwise via Guthrie's path, the loch and the deer park. The return to Linlithgow will be via Hillhouse woods and Preston Road.

A complete circuit of Reservoir on paths close to water’s edge, sections of minor road, and field tracks.

 

Join the Linlithgow group for a 7.1 mile moderate walk.

Janet's Brae, Glentress, Eshiels wood. Climb Janet's Brae, follow path up past Buzzard's Nest car park. Then take Red Squirrel trail down to Glentress visitors centre. Enter Eshiels woodland and follow track by river back to cars.

Circular foreshore and woodland walk.  Good views over Forth.  Can be muddy.  Ascent 45m.  OS Explorer 349

Blackness to Carriden. Walk from Blackness to Carriden and back on the same way by the shore.
