Circular walk from Innerleithen (Leithen Rd CP) via Pirn Craig Kirnie Law, Purvis Hill, Priesthope, Walkerburn and River Tweed. Woodland, open hillside and riverside paths.

Penicuik House Country Estate Circular Walk Ascent 150 metre/ 500ft. Start Point Penicuik Country Park car park. Autumnal woodland Circuit following track through designed landscape - Penicuik House - South Bank Wood -Ramsay's Monument - Penicuick Church - North Esk Riverside Path -Penicuik House - car park. OS 66 Grid Ref NT 22004,59913. Depart West Port 08.30 (This replaces the Wiss Hill walk previously scheduled)

Circular walk via Beecraigs Loch, Witchcraig Hill, Cairnpapple, Torphichen, Beecraigs.  Cairnpapple may have an admission charge. Bring Historic Scotland card if you have one. OS65

Circular walk Almondell/Calderwood. Starting from East Calder, mostly on woodland tracks and paths.

Stuc Odhar Loop. A walk in the Glen Finglas area which is part of the Trossachs Forestry. Starting from Lendrick car park we head up Cnoc nan Sidheag. A steep climb takes us Lendrick Hill towards the summit the Stuc Odhar. The path continues past the reservoir and part of Glen Finglas Estate. Leaving the path we follow the waymarked post to the top of Stuc Odhar. A difficult and challenging walk consisting of paths, woodland and fabulous views.

Currie to Pentlands and return

Join the Tweeddale group for a 11.6 mile strenuous walk.

North Esk Reservoir, Borestone, Eastcairn Hill, CauldstaneSlap Baddins Gill, Stony path, Roman Road. Tracks and hill paths, some muddy.

Join the Coldstream group for a 7.0 mile leisurely walk.

A walk around the historical parts of Berwick, particularly in relation to the artist Lowry, and out of the town along the Tweed

Join the South Queensferry group for a 5.5 mile easy walk.

Circular over farmland and woodland by the Forth with a linear extension to Blackness.  Ascent 30m.  OS Explorer 349.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 8.5 mile strenuous walk.

Ben Venue. Approach will be from Loch Achray. Ben Venue may be small in stature but it is a mountain of real character, the finest in the Trossachs when seen across Loch Venachar, Loch Achray or Loch Katrine. The ascent is a great walk with both boggy and rocky ground higher up, and stunning views from the summit.

Mentieth Hills circular from Braeval. Starting from the Braeval car park, the route follows the ridge of the Mentieth Hills northeast as far as Craig a' Bhacain, returning via the Rob Roy Way footpath to the east of the ridge. Some quite steep ascents and descents, and some of the route is off paths.

Burntisland to Ravenscraig Castle, Kirkcaldy.  Varied walk along part of the Fife Coastal Path.  Coastal path and pavements.  Return to Burntisland by Public Transport.

From the centre of Dalkeith, along the river past Newtongrange, Lady Lothian's Plantation, Lothianbridge, the Penicuik to Musselburgh Footpath, and return to Dalkeith town centre,

Dunblane cathedral via Darn Rd/River Allan, Bridge of Allan and return by Kippenrait glen, Drumdruills and Badgergate. Minimal ascent. OS57

Ben Gullipen, Callander. A lovely walk from Callander crossing the River Teith and up into the woods then onto open hillside, with good views throughout the route.

Join the Eildon Ramblers group for a 6.0 mile leisurely walk.

Lunch will be after walk at 13:00hrs followed by AGM to be held at Glendouglas Hall 2.5 miles south of Jedburgh on A68.

Pleasant walk around Bo'ness taking in harbour, foreshore, nature reserve, Kinneil Estate, Kingluss Wood and Kinnigors Park.  Ascent 120m.  OS Explorer 349.

The Cloich Loop from Eddleston. A mixture of paths, farm tracks and quiet roads with fine views over the Moorfoot

Join the Balerno group for a 6.5 mile moderate walk.

Birnam Institute, Birnam Station, Inchowan Burn, Ladywell plantation, Balhomish, Rumbling Bridge, Falls of the Braan, The Hermitage and Ossians Hall, Inver, Beatrix Potter Garden and return to Birnam Institute. Moderate climb and descent, mostly forest or hill paths, through the village streets.

Cloich Circular. Starting at Eddleston near Peebles, this circular above Barony Hotel follows good forestry, woodland and grassy tracks (some boggy patches). Lovely views east and south and the chance to see the newly refurbished Great Polish Map of Scotland.

Kinghorn Loch and Rodanbraes. From Kinghorn to Kinghorn Loch and Craigencalt Farm then by tracks and minor roads to Rodanbraes.

A combination of two walks around Doune including Doune Castle, Doune Ponds and Commonty Walk.  Ascent negligible.  OS Explorer 366.

Circular from Ormiston via disused railway, Duncrahill, Peaston Bank, Fountainhall. Includes some walking on minor roads. PD £3.50

Starting at the Tarbrax Road End on the A70 over Henshaw Hill and White Graig to Black Law (Covenanter's Grave) returning by Darless Rig. Over rough moorland

Devilla forest circular. A circular walk visiting the curling pond - Danish camp - Moor Loch - boat house - Peppermill dam - mausoleum and back via Praybrae wood. Mainly on good tracks and paths.

Circular from Glen House (Traquair) to Glenshiel Bank and Loch Eddy. A slow gradual ascent 194M mostly on tracks.

Circular walk from Dollar via Glenquey Reservoir towards Gen Devon, returning via Auchlinsky and Commonedge Hill

Join the Linlithgow group for a 8.0 mile moderate walk.

Aberdour Circular. A pleasant walk on tracks, paths and minor roads from Aberdour railway station car park. Ascent 300m (980ft).

Join the Edinburgh group for a 6.5 mile moderate walk.

Ascending via the popular path up The Law (638) to Ben Cleuch (721) before descending over Ben Ever (622) and through the Silver Glen.

Join the South Queensferry group for a 6.0 mile leisurely walk.

Circular from Craigmead to West Lomond and back via Harperleas and Ballo reservoirs.  Ascent 270m.  OS Explorer 370.

Join the Tweeddale group for a 7.5 mile moderate walk.

Walk up toward Barony Castle Hotel then through woods and open land to Shiplaw. Past the Observatory to Cloich farm. Good track to junction with Cross Borders Drove Rd to reach Nether Stewarton and return via Barony Castle to start. Farm and forestry tracks with some road walking.

Dunslair Heights circular from Peebles. From car park go NE via Tower Rig onto Dunslair Heights. Return via good forest tracks.

South Queensferry, Dalmeny Estate and Dalmeny Village.

Tillicoultry Circular. A pleasant walk, taking in Tillicoultry, Fishcross, and Sauchie, then circling round towards Coalsnaughton and down towards the River Devon. May be muddy in places.

Linear from Bowland via Bow Castle, Sell Moor, and Muircleuch to Lauder.

Join the Linlithgow group for a 10.3 mile strenuous walk.

Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh & An Stuc. The eastern three Munros of the Lawers range give an excellent circuit of the corrie holding Lochan nan Cat, the finest feature of the range. The recently-promoted Munro of An Stuc involves a steep scramble and this route is much more challenging than the usual trade route to Ben Lawers itself.

This stage goes via. Bedrule, Denholm and from there follows River Teviot to Hawick.

Weekend at Tyndrum travelling up on the Friday and then tackling some of the corbetts in the surrounding area on Saturday and Sunday.

The Grange and Fishers Brae. Starting from the West Port walk by the back of the loch, up to the Grange then along to Fishers Brae, returning to the West Port by the Bo'ness Road.
